I've got a Dell 2007WFP, have had it for about a year or so now. I love it except the response time is a little slow.. I've noticed though recently, the back light seems to be acting up. Like if i have a dark background with a gradient across it, then open a window thats got some brightness to it, the rest of the screen around it changes brightness 1-2 seconds afterwards. It never did this before.. I was wondering if anyone knows what this is or whats causing it.. Time to RMA/See if dell will let me put it towards a new one?

I was going to take screen shots then I realized.. it wont matter since its the output and its not what you would see anyway.. since its my monitor.

mies does the same thing [2007 WFP A02 S-IPS] but it only happens when in Multimedia or Gaming modes... in desktop mode its perfectly normal

Thanks.. I never would've figured that out to be the culprit.. I wonder why it does that..

something to do with the fedorija [forgot what its called] processing that only gets active during multimedia/gaming modes that causes it

Its the dynamic contrast processing used in the multimedia and gaming modes...it never has worked right and those settings are useless imo.
