2007WFP and 1:1 question

I'm starting to consider this one as my next purchase soon but I need to get a answer to my question : Can this LCD screen display 1:1 ratio on resolutions lower than 1600x1050 (like 800x600 1:1 pixel with black areas around it like it can be done on notebooks) ?

The reason for this is that my graphics cards can run at max resolution for most games but for Oblivion, i prefer to run 1:1 at 1280x1024 or 1024x768 to reduce the graphics load on the card. It also look better than the washed out pixel scaling.

Since the real estate of a 1:1 1024x768 or 1280x1024 on the 2007wfp is similar to what i see on my currenct 17" crt, i won't mind the smaller picture in favor of better performances.

As you can see from my sig I have the horsepower to run everything @1680x1050, but I got a chance to test the 1:1 @1280x1024 with the lame NFS:carbon demo that doesn't support any widescreen res whatsoever (and no hacks yet). It worked fine for me but I'm still annoyed at EA for not letting me use my entire screen.
