I have the black version of that case :D none of my front led's work :(
I have the regular and mine don't work either. Not that big of a deal, I probably would of unhooked them anyway.

I took the liberal use of the english language and decided to post pics of my new "workstation"

Just completed last Sunday ... about three days of my and my friend working our a$$es off ... home modding taking to the [H] degree.

Basically I got sick (literally?) and tired of having paint fumes in my house. Living in Michigan in the winter basically rules out painting in the garage, espically when said garage is not heated in any way, shape, or form. So we decided on a great solution to a [H]ard problem:

DIY_Paint_Booth.jpg

Let's tear down a basement wall, and use the materials to construct a paint booth!

DIY_Paint_Booth_Open_Door.jpg

An old kitchen table was liberated as a work surface:
DIY_Paint_Booth_Work_Table_Inside.jpg

After reading about constructing your own paintbooth on the internet, I was scared enought to research into having all electrical components isolated from the paint fumes. THIS IS A VERY REAL DANGER ... please note that if you're looking to make your own booth. This illustrates the sealed lighting and the positive inlet pressure, donated by a new run off of the furnace trunk which happened to be 3' away from the booth:
DIY_Paint_Booth_Lighting_Positive_Pressure.jpg

We also need to vent the fumes... time for a little negative pressure:

DIY_Paint_Booth_Negative_Pressure.jpg

The 4" venting system uses a furnace exhaust gas fan. You'd be surprised at the CFM's this little guy can move:
DIY_Paint_Booth_Negative_Pressure_System.jpg

We built a small stand out of plywood and 1"x for the exhaust motor... but where to vent the fumes?
DIY_Paint_Booth_Negative_Pressure_Exhaust.jpg

Doorwall looked good. Out they go! Here's a closer shot of the negative pressure system:
DIY_Paint_Booth_Negative_Pressure_System_Closeup.jpg

So the positive pressure in the booth is free, coming off of the furnace. The negative pressure fan can be had at a HVAC shop for prob $20 - $30 ... mine was free having friends in the business. Other supplies totaled about $100. Small price to pay for having a [H]ard paint booth and eliminating the nasty paint fumes in my house.

I've done about 3 cases so far. Friday I'll post pics of my actual *computer* workstation.

P.S. Mods ... I'm not trying to hijack. If this makes sense in a better area of the forums, please feel free to move, but please link in place.

Cheers!

and yes..... i like the color green. :p

Very nice ritual!!! What a coincidence with almost the same hardware and sticker placement. Also the system that is behind my new one is Lian Li PC7USB which is still serving me well. The only reason I got the Antec was because I didn't know if there would be enough room for the 7800GTX SLI setup.

You just have to love Lian Li!!!

Very slick room ... looks like you spent your money in the right places.

Those posters place you solidly in the 28 - 33 year range me things :) I can't believe that Faith No More never got more popular than they did... one of my most favorite bands ever. Mike Patton has pretty much the best voice in rock history.

QFT, Faith No More is one of my all time favorite bands.

Thanks everyone! The room looks great in that color, the problem is that everyone who goes in there looks ill because of the light reflection. Exactly what I need, to look more pale and sickly when sitting in front of the computer

I'm 27 acutally :D I've had that poster for years, and it's really beat up. But I finally got it in a frame so it won't completely fall apart. Faith No More has been one of my favorite bands for years, and I love pretty much any project that Mike Patton has done (Fantomas, Lovage, Gen. Patton vs X)

ok, here she is, not really, its just an hp with a few upgrades. lol, monitor is the best part for me

That picture has been floating round the net for a while, it was originally posted on Astalavista.com. It even advertises the site. The member who posted it is either trying to be funny and failing or is a loser.

and w/ serious doubt anyone who makes that kind of money has to use $5 cheap generic brand name mouse.

I'll get better "cleaner" pics when get my new desk put together,it's setting in the hallway till someone comes to get this desk.

Here's the Current setup, but I'm in the middle of building a real desk - I'll post a worklog of that when it's done. (by that time there should be a second 23" ADC there too - and yes, they're all running off my main box.) :D
