Enjoy it, it passes you by in a blink of an eye. If I were you I would time your next huge upgrade to be right before you decide to leave home. Try and squeeze in that FX-62 before you have to pay for heat and electricity ;)

Haha. Good tip. My 4000+ is running FX-62 speeds, does that count? :p

I have the same monitor/keyboard/mouse combo. I'll post pics once I finish getting everything setup.

EDIT: Meant to ask, what desk is that? I'm looking for a fairly plain L-shaped desk and that looks pretty nice.

I'm in the basement here. This is the basement TV. I got VCR/DVD/360 on that. The other TV is for my friend when he comes over. I use his xbox for a dedicated server when he is not around. Its more convenient for him to leave it here. There are now more Tvs there, though.

I have 2 vcrs for rf modulation. They were hooked up together for copying over on the tv with my soft-modded XBOX.

Two crappy computers. One is just for the N64. I have a face mapper so I can change the face of a character in Goldeneye 007 with anything. I also make my own gameshark codes there.

The other comp is nothing yet. Soon to be a dedicated Folding-At-Home computer.

My main basement computer is a celeron. Its just for quick browsing and aim when I'm away from my good computer. The other one, that isn't on, has a cd-burner which I use for burning VCDs or linux distros. It currently runs Nero 7 Ultra.

new case :)... ignore crappy old hp printer.. where my dad used to work (retired) he got a whole bunch of ink for it... so its used to save my canon ip4000 for only photo's and such... this is temporary set up till i can move out of here... which shouldnt be to long... then i can get my self a nice big desk..
 
I've been following this thread for long enough now so I suppose I'll post my temp. setup while I'm home for summer. I also just cleaned up so this is the last time my desk(which is actually my dresser :eek: ) will look this uncluttered. As for the wiriring... I really dont care how it looks since it'll only be another month till I move out again.

In your first picture, is it just a trick of the angle, or is that stack of electronics including a reciever and xbox360 really resting on a couple of cd spindles on top of some books? I would be nervous as heck if that's really the case.
 
I was wondering the same thing, but If you look closely you can see four metal 'legs' on each corner of that little table :)

lol, no. but just looking over at it I did notice that the table wasnt set on the legs right and was fairly unstable untill I fixed it.
 
This is when its clean. You can't imagine what it looks like during a project.

PS: Is it bad that I have no plexi in there or anything to protect it? :D
 
Took it out. The 80mm fan that was in it interfered with the 90mm on my XP-90. I took the fan out and it looked like crap with just a hole in the plexi. I took the plexi out and it looks much better. Now I need to find something to do for protection that looks nice and still allows perfect view into the case AND has great ventilation.

Oh, and note the extreme cooling on the video card. 80mm fan wire tied so it blows on the POS stock heatsink. :D

I recently did the pac-man and our lady peace decals. The hard drive cooler i had since about the middle of may, and the home made cooling, i got that one fan infront of the video card and i have the other one inside the air chassis that leads to the CPU.

i had one of those amps... mine was all silver though.... that thing was awsome!!! i couldnt put it past 1/3 volume... it would be insanly loud... wish i still had it :(

i know what you mean, i cant imagine whta it can be like full blast.
