So... Maybe you should call them and work a deal.

You really just need to haggle.
$380 shipped appears to be the lowest they are going for these days.
I just thought it was weird that one day it was $499.99. Then it goes up to $699.99. I hope it goes down when I want to get it.sniper991122 said:well, that is retail after all... are they not allowed to sell it for the retail price?
Everyone has just gotten so used to dell cutting the prices all the time that the retail price seems astronomical... im sure if you wait a week or two you will have plenty of chances to get it for much cheaper....

I've been using pricegrabber.com a lot lately to find decent prices on computer stuff-- what sites do you guys recommend?
my 2005FPW is flawless. Not even a stuck pixelwpeng said:I wouldn't pay that much for this crappy monitor. Unless you don't care about backlight leakage, this monitor is horrible. Whenever I watch a dark movie, it's like someone's shining a flashlight on the screen. I'm on my 2nd replacement (3rd monitor) and it still has these problems.
If this were $300 dollars, I'd accept the problems it has, but for $400? Not worth it.
