2005fpw USB ports not working

The USB ports on the bottom and the side of the monitor are not working...anyone know why this might be happeneing?
 
Did you plug in the separate usb cord that came w/ the monitor? The cord plugs into the bottom of the monitor and connects to your computer's usb port. After that, the usb ports on the monitor should work.
