Hey, I maybe getting a 2005FPW soon. I am wondering:
How do I get sound out of my Xbox through it? The Xbox will be hooked up to it through HD. I really don't want to spend 70 bucks for a sound system.

2005FPW doesn't have speakers. It's just a standalone LCD display, like the majority of LCD displays.

You will have to get an additional speaker set or go with the crappy Dell soundbar.

I currently have 2 speakers. Can you tell me how would I wire this?
Help appreciated.
 
The Xbox has the R & L (RCA) audio connections. If your speakers are just regular computer speakers, it will use the 3.5mm connections. In order to use it with the Xbox's supplied cables, you would need a Y-cable that has two RCA ends and one 3.5mm end.

If you have passive speakers, you're going to need an amp/receiver.
 
What's the best way to set up a system like that where you can easily switch between using your computer speakers with the Xbox and the PC? I've been trying to consolidate all of my viewing to my monitor and it's not proving to be as easy as I'd like, heh.
