2005FPW questions :)

Hi,

Just had a couple of doubts since I just got the 2005FPW, seems like I got about 3 or 4 dead pixels But they dont bother me much, and the backlighting its pretty awful from the corners, which seems liek the norm for these monitors.

But what got me scared today was the it started showing some moving lines in the middle, at first I thought my video card is having some heat problems or wahtever, but when I turned the monitor off and then on the lines went away, are they coming back ? Or do I have a bad monitor ?

I was planning on buying a 2005fpw too soon.... will Dell take it back with 3-4 dead pixels?BTW you did buy it new from Dell correct?

Yeah dell.com, I dont really mind about the dead pixels since I cant really notice them, but the flickering lines got me scared.

I was talking to a dell rep today about the dead pixel's today
I didnt get much. How long ago did u get it? If it is within 21 days I think you can exchange it.

Is there still warrenty left on it?

I have owned a few of the Rev02 and they are perfect. You recent order should be rev02.
Flickering lines tho?

Thing is I didnthave time to test it till now, and its been more than 21 days for sure.

Well the monitor is fkd up so bad, those were definitely signs that it was defective, now its got flickering all over the place, HORRIBLE, Im so pissed

That sucks but the monitor should still be under manufacturer warranty.
