Right now I have a pair of 17" Samsung 730B lcds, and one 15" Samsung lcd. I am giving the 15" to a friend, and planning on replacing it. I can either snag another 730B for around $250 or so, or grab a Dell 2005fpw for the center monitor for about $400. I like my 730B's right now, as they have no dead pixels, but I have been wanting to go for something bigger as the center monitor. From what I hear the 2005fpw would be perfect, as it is simply wider, not taller than my 17" lcds. I am worried, however, that the Dell might have dead pixels and such, and would become a big hassle. What I am asking is, is the 2005fpw worth the additional $150, or would another 730B and $150 in my pocket be a better choice?

i just got my 2005fpw today, and there are no dead pixels that i can see. So far i am very impressed with this monitor. I just need to use it longer and see if i notice any backlight leakage.
