Hey all,
I have a Dell 2005FPW, which is wide screen. I set my X11 resolution in /etc/X11/xorg.conf to 1680x1050.
I have a 6800GT, and it seems that the nvidia drivers stretch the picture across the LCD, instead of using that resolution. Everything looks stretched length wise. Is this how it should look? I would image everything should not look stretched.
If i fire up the nvidia x server settings program, and goto Display Device -> DFP-0, FlatPanel Scaling is on "Scaled" ... which makes it look stretched. If i set it to "Centered", it does not look stretched, but of course it does not take up the whole screen.
What should be done?
Thanks!
George
