Okay, so at the moment I'm stuck with a 2005FPW in VGA mode.

I'm trying to run at 1680 x 1050 but the image on my screen is shifted to the right by about 3 inches, making my system tray and other things inaccessible.

I just want to be able to shift the image back to the left about 3 inches. Sounds easy, right?

My VGA adapter's display positioning feature is maxed out as far as it can go. PowerStrip can shift it over a little bit, and then the whole screen goes unreadable, sort of like a CRT convergance problem.

Applicable hardware includes:

Dell UltraSharp 2005FPW
Intel 82855GME (aka Extreme Graphics 2  )

Applicable software includes:

Microsoft Windows XP Professional w/ Service Pack 2
Driver 6.14.10.3924 for Intel Extreme Graphics 2
no drivers for 2005FPW

If anyone has a recommendation of a program that can do what I need it to do, I'd appreciate your help.

Have you tried the "Auto Adjust"?
Its in the menu under 'image settings'

I had an issue with DVI where on a new system install the 2005fpw was offset to the right by 20 pixels, but the part that was cutoff wrapped around to the other side of the screen. VGA worked fine.

It might be a driver problem. Is it always 3 inches off or only when at native res?

My DVI problem happened anytime I chose a resolution that had the native 1050 vertical resolution involved, basically 1400*1050 and 1680*1050.

try the screen on another computer to see what happens

Auto Adjust did the trick this time, LOL.

That's strange, because when I originally switched to 1680 x 1050, the Auto Adjust didn't fix it. Well, thanks for the replies.
