Just saw the Apple Cinema 20inch lcd at best buy(first one to open in montreal) and was wondering if the 2005fpw looked as awsome as it(as they say on Anandtech).
 
2005FPW is the win!

Mine is pretty much perfect. The backlight leak is noticeable on an all-black screen after it's been on a while, but other than that, it's flawless. Best monitor I have ever seen or used.

It really does live up to all the hype it gets here on the forum

I'ts really up to you. A buncha talkin heads on a web forum are not half as good as your OWN eyes :)
 
Give me until the end of next week and I'll post a personal review of the 20" Cinema HD.

I'm a big fan of Apple hardware and there's just no getting around how good the Cinema HD line looks. Plus my live-in g/f is an interior design major and I know she'll appreciate it.
