those skins are really expensive. $60?! I would rather do an airbush job. but the do look pretty awesome. I'd get one If I had that kind of money.

lol $60 aint expensive, airbrush dont look as good either. Im suprised, you (US) get most things much cheaper yet you still complain stuff is explensive :D
 
Heres my setup. Simple stuff, thats the desk my dorm came with. And of course a high tech monitor riser... :D You can't see it in the pic, but there are 3 desks put together to make a big desk. My comp is on one, my printer and my roommate' s aquarium w/ turtle are on the middle desk, and my roomate's computer is on the third desk.

ahh, dorm life...i moved off campus my sophomore year so i have real furniture now, but good job dude. you made do with what you have. those rear speaker mounts are pretty hot :)

Haha, thanks! The dorm came with 2 desks, and a guy across the hall didn't need his, so we took it and put it to good use. I've ghetto-rigged up so much stuff in my dorm, its pretty funny. All I can say is zip-ties and duct-tape make the world go round. :D

Z-640s with the grills removed. Its amazing how much the clarity improves (especially the highs) without them. The high crossover point for the sub necessitated by the small satallite drivers leaves a bit to be desired, but with some careful EQ and environment tweaking they sound pretty good. Especially for ~$65 speakers! :)

pilotman2004, how did you remove the grills? I have Z-340's and would like to try what you did. Thanks!
 
Just pry them off. They aren't screwed in, but you do have to work them a bit. just pull from the sides, and work slowly. They'll pop off!
 
Got new flooring and a new desk coming in tommorrow, will post my workstation then, with before and after comparisons :D

It better be strong enough to hold that beast of a rig. :cool:

I should get around to posting my workstation soon, I just need to get few things in order first.

I also need a "real" desk. :)

ahh the uberness of a folding table, gotta love it. i have one too as mine serves as a workbench for my case mod thats in my bedroom. i also see 4 pcs total including a shuttle,1 dell lcd (looks like a 19" maybee a 17") and what looks like 2 ups's. just asking, what do you keep them on for, i mean the ups? for power failers, spikes or what?
oops i forgot, thats a c6 on the screen of the lcd.............
 
Anyone else notice his box of tissues and his convieniantly placed bottle of lotion. . . :D

Well, actually, there are five PC's in the picture. :) I'm trying to sell off the white and gray towers you see. The Dell is a 2001FP 20", and yes, that's supposed to be a picture of the C6 ZO6.

The power here doesn't go out often, but when it does, it usually quickly cycles on and off several times. I have two because one doesn't have enough outlets.
 
yeah, i love my xbox, its a 1.4 with a tsop flash and a 200gb hard drive. i use it all the time for everything, even web surfing. the yellow skin came from ebay, it was like $7 with shipping, and it looks alot better than my silver paintjob

Hehe now that I look back at it.. it was a load of crap... literally :D
I had the floor changed towood (cant stand carpet) and got a new desk, pics soon, once I get the finishing touches in.

i just couldnt imagine living w/ that mess. i thought my room was messy. i honestly dont understand how some of you guys live. its disgusting....

thats the controller for a mech game for xbox... cant remember the name though.
