2003 shares not mapping through GPP

Anyone experienced this before? I have 2012 R2 shares that seem to be mapping correctly through User GPP, but the 2003 R2 shares are not (all in same GPO). I'm using Item Level Targeting to map to members of certain security groups. Interesting enough, if I log in with a problem user account, you can browse to the 2003 R2 share via UNC, and you can manually map the drive without problems. It's really odd.
 
Not sure on server 2003, but with XP you have to install the group policy client side extensions for GPP to work on anything less than Vista.
 
The workstations are Win7 x86 clients.

I think I figured it out though.

I ended up recreating the GPO and apparently that worked. It could have been a timing issue to be honest. I just kept manually disconnecting the drives, ran gpupdate /force, log off/on, and the drives appeared just fine.

Whatevs. It's working :)
