What's the deal with the pricing difference between home/home office, small business, and medium/large business at the Dell site?
What is the logic of the strategy of pricing the units sometimes $150 apart? I mean, there doesn't seem to be a pattern for which segment will yield the cheapest price- it seems to be a randomly generated thing, and varies from one week to the next it appears. What's to stop everyone from ordering from whichever segment has the cheapest price?

Usually it seems that Dell SB's sale price is @ $749 and Dell home's is $899.

But once you factor in the Tax dell SB charges, it's not that much cheaper.

Although if you're a real business, you can put it as a tax write-off.

I actually saved more money buying from their home division. Bought a coupon on ebay for $7 , that saved me $50 on my order. I ended up paying $20 less than SB.
