I know this lcd can't be lowered all the way down. Maybe like an inch or 1/2 inch from desk.

Are there any cheap stands that can be attached to this lcd that allow height adjustment all the way down to desk level?

I want to get one of these, but the height adjustment is stopping me.

yup, I've been more than happy with the heighth of mine.

Mine doesn't get closer than 4-5" to the desk in "landscape" mode, in portrait mode it gets alot closer.

Very happy with height adjustments that are available. I don't know of anyone who puts there monitor so low it touches desktop and don't know why you would want to. I try to keep mine at eye level to reduce neck strain. I suppose it would look neat at desktop level but you would have to angle it up to see it and possibly get a lot of glare from lights. Let is know if you find one though. You could always use a wall mount and mount it down that low.

My chair is a little lower and I'm using a 15" lcd now. So, i'm used to viewing the screen directly at eye level. If the 20" was like 3 inches lower it would of been good.
Guess you can't have your cake and eat it too. lol
