200 buck best?

O, yeah thats right, i forgot, new computer hardware comes out every couple days, my bad, in that case you should start a new thread like every 24 hours. then i would get the most info posible.
 
depends on what size monitor you will be running, if your on a 19" lcd or crt (1280x1074) then the 6800gs will fit the bill just fine with some eye candy turned on. any higher res you'll need a buffer card.
 
Why would I need a buffer card? I have a Dell 2005FPW with res of 1680x1050. This card would not be good for that?
 
if your going to play your games at that native res then your in for some lag and skipping.
 
IMO I wouldn't want anything less than a 7800 GTX for 1680x1050... and even then, sometimes it's not fast enough. But I'm a detail whore.
