Apparently I'm going to need a HDCP capable LCD in order to use HDMI->DVI cable with my PS3. I'm wondering if anybody here plays a PS3 on a 20-22" widescreen LCD. I'm currently running an old (very old) 17" Samsung 172w, which is a widescreen LCD with a 1280x768 max resolution. I'm looking for an LCD with similar picture quality/viewing angle.
From what I've read around here it's important that the LCD I get for PS3 be able to upscale/stretch the image competently. Since these monitors are all 1680x1050, it seems like I will probably be running 720p mode on the PS3, which is 1280x720.
Please give me some hints which of these 20-22" LCD's does the streching from 1280x720 to 1680x1050 well.
I'm leaning towards LG L204WTX 20IN Widescreen LCD Silver Black 5MS 1680X1050 2000:1 VGA DVI-D Monitor, as a reference point.
