I'll be in the market for a couple of LCD's within the next month or so. I am looking at 20.1 widescreen, can't afford larger sizes because I need two. I have my system in sig with an x850xt - ati and the new rig I'll build when the conroe comes out - I have the x1900xtx sitting in a box waiting(can't use it - sig system is agp). Will I have problems with the ati cards? I have been reading for a couple of weeks and see people saying nvidia supports the native resolutions etc.

Well, I already own two ati cards.

I am interested in the viewsonic and the samsung.

I game quite alot - bf2 etc and will watch movies, along with tv.

My drivers I have installed already have the widescreen resolutions.

I run those and they are more tweaked for the hardcore player ati and nvidia. It adds so many resolutions that people need strait up. I recomend never using standard ati drivers. I do not know if the Nvidia version is better than the offical drivers from them, but if its like ATI offical vs Omega. Its not even close
