I have a tube of Ceramique from over 2 years ago and the town I live in doesnt have stores that carry Arctic Silver thermal pastes. I got a new CPU and forgot to order newer ceramique. Can I use this ceramique and still get good results?

can u post a pic of it, I think I have one but not sure if it really is it. Thx

if it lasts for months/years being subjected to the extreme temps and temp changes of a CPU, then it'll be fine for a couple of years sitting in a tube. or at least that's what i told myself when i used some 2yo arctic last weekend. :)

that stuff usually lasts twice as long under about 60- degrees of hot CPU. impretty sure it will last a few years in a tube.

try it, you'll know if it doesn't work.

Just as a bit of reference, I bought a 22 gram syringe from Directron.com back in 2003, and am coming close to running out these days.

Each application has been just as good as the first, and the stuff has proven to be remarkably stable.

Just use it. That's all I can say.

Yeah I got a two year old tube sitting here, and its working fine, I put some 'extra' on my laptops T5500, and my temps droped 8c (which is weird since I was using ASC on it before, just less of it).
