2 x 2405 together

hi all

is it possible to run 2x2405 Dell monitors together? I want to use this for Flight Simulator however will there be any performance loss if i do this using the inputs of my 7600GT card?

You can do it but it will be a big stress on your card with both at Native res.
 
Dell 2405s run at 1920x1200 native...so double that would be 3840x1200. Even without anti-aliasing, you will need some serious horsepower to push that resolution, and a 7600GT will just sputter and die, most likely.
 
Sputter and die; I would have to agree with that. Just get a 37" Westinghouse and be happy with 19x10 resolution and a nice big screen.
 
That could work but that is also ultra high resolution. 1280x1024 x 3
 
Yeah, but you're still rendering three monitors worth of pixels.
 
I have a 7900GT clocked at 590 / 1500, same question... just not..... flight simulator

and... anyone have any guides on taking out the plastic and putting them really close together? thanks.
 
Are you talking about taking off the LCD frame? I think you could do that but who knows what is under that frame, it could be wiring or something else. Also, you have the potential of screwing up a very expensive LCD.

Honestly I dont see why you need the extra FOV. If you really want a big screen, just buy a Westinghouse 37" LCD and use that.
 
yea wel in Australia we can't get a Westinghouse 37"and you'd see alot more on 3 screens than 1.
