Both are seagates:
ST3250310AS
ST3250620AS

It seems to me the first one makes less noise and is faster, but theyre supposed to be near identical. Also the second one is twice as "fat" physically as the first one, which gioves me the idea it uses older technology or 2 platters instead of 1. I want to install a new OP system on the second, thinking if it will be a big difference if I installed it on the first one instead?
 
Check the performance.
HDTune is good.
Compare the performance of different block sizes (change it in the config), 4K is used a lot by Windows for small file transfers.
