2 TB limit in Server 2003? Help!

Just got our 8 TB NAS/SAN installed and we're configuring it now. I created a 3TB LUN on the SAN for our Disk to Disk Compnay backups. The only thing is that Server 2003 SP1 (standard) is telling me 2TB is the max. I REALLY don;t want to have to go dynamic on this thing. Is there a reg change or anything I can do? I need more than 2TB to feel safe for the future.

EDIT: Just tried on a whim to convert to GPT (thought it was for 64 Bit only), and it let us. We'll see how Veritas reacts to it.
