2 Rads better than one?

was curious if anyone has tried 2 rads and if this would do better than a single one.

has anyone every tried two rads in a single setup? with a pump thats powerfull enough? like even if it went rad>rad>pump>cpu> or rad>pump>rad>cpu? thanks!

also anyone know where I can see some diagrams/pictures where I can set water cooled setup with cpu and vga blocks? Just curious the correct setup for the tubing. Next question will my pump (big water) handle adding a gpu block?

Would two smallish 80mm radiators do okay? I have a Lian-Li PC65, so I was thinking of putting one 80 mm rad at the top blowhole and one at the back exhaust, and then going pump -> rad -> cpu block -> rad -> GPU block -> pump.

not without excessively loud fans or precision tweaking.
 
Well, what's excessively loud? Are we talking Vantec Tornado loud here? :D What about two fairly normal 80mm fans attached to a fan controller?

I guess I'm just being lazy, trying to avoid taking the dremel to my case...would a single 120mm radiator do okay?

excessively loud would be 40db or louder to get as good or better performance than the XP-90 or XP-120 heatsinks on an a64.

as for a single 120 being sufficient: to keep nice temps with 30 db or quieter fans, you should probably look at a dual 120mm rad. if you don't mind louder fans, then a single might fit the bill, but at that noise level why would you not just go with good air cooling?

I've used 2 rads in 'serial' circuit.It all depends on what your pump can give.
This is the only order of a (good) WC-system; ...-> pump->CPU,...->RAD->REServoir->...
My setup consists of ...->pump->CPU->GPU->RAD 1 (low-resistance)-> RAD 2(high resistance)-> REServoir->.... And still maintains a flow of 2 litres/min.
I'm thinking of putting in a third.


But it only keeps your coolant temperature stable and low.(A big reservoir gives the same result as multiple RAD's.)
Especialy during gaming.I can play for hours upon end with minor temp-changes.


The pump, it's all about the pump. :D
