Hey guys, quick question before I head to TigerDirect after school and buy my new mobo and IDE Controller, I have a few questions.
1. The IDE Controller I plan on buying has 2 ports. Can I use each of these poirts like a normal IDE port on a motherboard and have it support 2 HDD's for each? Or do you have to have a maximum of one HDD per port for the controller
A. Like all things, quality matters and you 'get what you pay for'. But would this IDE controller do what I want without giving me problems?

2. My power supply has the normal amount of ATA power connectors. Here's how they are bieng used as of now. 2 For optical drives. 1 For HDD. 1 for Video Card. Problem is, I'm going to be adding 3 more HardDrives, and I'm not sure I want to buy these because they are 7" long, and that's just asking for a non-airflowing PC. Are there any of these 'Y' Connectors you can suggest?
A. How many of these things can I use for each ATA Power Connector? Is it safe to add say 3 of these things to the original connector?
