Just a couple more questions...

How important is the contrast Ratio when buying an LCD for gaming? and
What good specs should i be looking for?
Im already looking for a DVI, that ill be getting regardless....

The 2 of the biggest things to look for in LCDs is contrast ratio and response time.

Most better looking LCDs run a 500:1 or better contrast ratio. Contrast ratio is what will give you better bights, and darker blacks.

Response time is very big for gaming. the lower the response time the better. Most people report that at 16ms they can not see any or much ghosting. Some of the newer displays that are now coming out are at 12, 11, and even 8ms response times.

Response time is a very tricky subject. Some people see ghosting better then others. like speakers go check out LCDs at your local B&M see what looks the best to you...
