2 problems, probably, one cause. Most likely the videocard is taking a crap on you. RMA or return it for another one.

alright.. i tried swapping my graphic card.. I can't view Analog at all.. with new graphic card or old one.. what the hell is that about... My moniter says says can't view analog..
I don't know what to do.. the one i have right now can't view analog, and i think it's taking a shit.. and anything i replace it with that doesn't have DVI won't work.. AHHHH..

anyone know what to do?? I just ordered a new VGA Chipset fan.. hopefully that will help.. Id ld like to be able to play games again!!!

WTF, hahaha. We could use some more information. What was the new video card you swapped? When was the last time your computer worked fine with the 9000? The 9000 is an old card, maybe it just died on you.

If you did any thing strange like a bios flash or driver update, maybe you should do system restore to go back to an earlier time when everything was working.

ATi video cards like to communicate with the monitor. I had some issues using my SGI monitor with an ATi card because the monitor didn't send all the signals that the card wanted. It would forget my settings fairly often, and would only work at certain resolutions (1024x768 or 800x600; if the game defaulted to 640x480, I would just get a blank screen and the 'no signal' light would start blinking on the monitor).

With that said, what kind of connections does the monitor have? Is the monitor DVI only? If so, then it will only work with a digital signal. Are you sure that the cable is good?

Did the card just recently start doing this? There is the possibility (like others have suggested) that the card has gone bad; in that case, it's best to replace it.

It started doing this what seems like soon after i upgraded my hardware, but i think it might of been before as well. I got a new Motherboard, processor and Ram.. I swapped the graphic card with a Phantom 3D 32MB
I just formatted my computer, i went to install the graphic drivers and it gives me an error saying: INF Error Can't find drivers.. WTF??
My monitor is DVI or VGA hookup.. right now i have the VGA hooked up to it and seems to be working fine after the format.. but i have a feeling once i download the drivers from Windows Update it won't work anymore.. arg..
Talk to me people.. If i need a new card.. what are some cards that are recommended..

After i reformatted.. i redownloaded America's Army.. which is the game i play.. and i started playing and i played for quite awhile.. actually.. compared to normal.. like 15 minutes i think.. then it went back to green pixels everywhere.. im so tired of this bullshit.. god.. think a new graphic card will do the trick.. and if it doesn't?

Phantom 3D 32MB and a 9000 atlantis, hahahahaha. Okay dude, it's the video card and nothing else. Those cards are extremely old and are most likely burnt out.

You've got a pentium 4 2.8 ghz and you're using the worst video cards of this day. Go get your self a 9800 pro for $190 or a 6800 for $270. If you want to spend less, then get a 9600xt or geforce 5950. But you're better off getting a 9800 pro or 6800.
