Hello,

Usually I'm not one for "recommend me a game" threads, so I cringe to create my own, but I do need some advice. A friend and I have recently upgraded our computers and are looking for a multiplayer game to play together over the summer. It'd be nice if it had decent graphics (to put the new machines through their paces), but it need not be absolutely cutting edge or any such.

It should be something that can be enjoyed in relatively short segments, say 30 minutes to an hour. Since we are "real life" friends we can save and reload, but that's not optimal.

If it's a shooter, it shouldn't be something where you're real fragile (think Jedi Knight vs. Battlefield) and it should be a shooter/action game where it's meaningful for two friends to be playing together (in a 32 person Battlefield match, it doesn't really make me have more fun if one of the identical grunts is my friend).

Other than that we're open to just about any genre or game.

Suggestions?

Thanks,
Tarrosion
