2 pin Fan connectors?

SVC has 2 pin fan connectors on their L1A Fans and I'm wondering if I can use those on 3 pin fan connectors like the mobo, which two do I put it on?
 
i grinded down the guides on some of my 2pins to fit on the 3pin slot.....but they werent on very snug so i just got some 3pin connectors and swapped.
