2 pass or 4 pass radiator?

No difference, really. Whet they differ in is restriction (I'm assuming you're talking about 2 or 4 parallel tubes) and bleedability (Bleeding 4-pass rads can be a richt b*tch).
 
i would say that there a whole lot of variables in the mix, including flow rate and coolant temps.

that being said, 2 pass is used by rather a lot of people around here.
