8800gt on it's way, should put me well over 20k ppd :cool:

 
It takes less than 4 million to make to top [H]ardfolding 25.
One 8800GT can do that in about 2 years...

You can buy a 256MB 8800GT from newegg for $69 after rebate...$99 if you forget to mail it in.

No excuses. Fold you biatches. :D

But you forget that the top 25 are a moving target ;)

I'll catch ya sooner or later, but It is going to take more then 4 mil by the time I get there.

Yeah man, the top 25 is a hard target to reach, but a very good goal for sure, because it puts the pressure on the rest of us to keep up and try to stay on the top 25 list:)

I think with all the new clients coming out for the GPU, and once Nehalem is launched later this year and early 2009, we should be able to reach that.

I know I for one will be doing everything I can to help get us to that level, and I know many more that will do the same! We should keep tabs on our PPD and stuff, that way we know how far we have to go.
 
And the top 10 will be very very hard to reach, now that it require at least 25k ppd to be in the top 10 in ppd. I'm personnally gunning for 50k ppd within 2 weeks.

Ramp up! and fold on! The [H]orde has been seing a nice steady increase, almost 2 million points for a 24hr period. Maybe 2 weeks before we see a steady 2 million ppd
or when Xilikon fires up his new boxen. FLECOM has been coming back with big points
and this new guy jkellum is putting down serious ppd. We will be there soon.

I've been in the top 25 points for some time now (barely). Getting here was not easy.
As you can see, there are BIG gap differentials between folders at the top of the heap.
Moving up a notch takes progressively longer. Weeks or months might pass as I creep
up on the folder above me. By the time I pass, I can describe his bumper in great detail.
And then I'll hear a load mower sound :eek: and in a relative blink of an eye, I'm back in my
old place. :)

Yes, but we got there today FLECOM.....OCAU breaks the 2Million points in a day milestone first.

Even the [H]ardest of you would agree that it is a fairly stellar effort on our part. Especially when you consider we were struggling for 800Kppd there not very long ago.

I see only 1.9 ,Mitsi, not 2, but still a great effort.

Yup, we're listening!!! I too am shooting for 50k PPD or more, just like Xilikon, only way in the world I'll be able to keep him at bay.

But on a more cautious note "we ([H]orde team 33) ain't even started yet" and the "smoke ain't cleared" ;).

You know what they say "thars more CUDA capable graphic cards in them thar hills" and we's a' gonna' get our far share. (and maybe more) :p

It's becoming even easier to mobilize, given the competition that has returned to the VGA card market. While that is good news for all teams (and Stanford)... it's bad news for cancer cells everywhere :D

doing my darndest to keep up the PPD on my rigs, and I'll be hosting one of the Community Boxen starting next week when it comes in, so I'd say the sky is the limit for us right now.
