ok, so I got 2 seagate SATA's at 80 gig each ready to go into my new system that I'm building.
Primary function is gaming. Question is, what's the best way to set them up for best performance. Do I go with a raid, or master-slave, or.....any input greatly appreciated.
 
RAID = not for gaming.

Since you mentioned master-slave I'm assuming these are IDE.

Typically given two IDE drives I put the one that's going to hold the OS & programs on the primary IDE controller, and the second hard drive and the optical drive sharing the secondary IDE controller. If you have more than two IDE controllers for some reason, then give each device its own. Devices in a Master/Slave relationship have to compete for controller time and thus tend to slow down when both are active at the same time.

Before you put anything on the second drive, move your pagefile there (create pagefile on that disk and give it a static size, i.e. maximum and minimum size are the same, probably about 1.5GB~2GB, and deactivate the pagefile on C:).
