2* Dual Core Opteron Mobo???

I don't know if any of you will be able to help but I need some help finding a new server motherboard.

It needs to support 2* Dual Core Opterons
It needs to support PCI-Express (cards not graphics)
It needs to support a minimum of 8GB ram.

If anyone knows of anything that will support that and not cost $1500 then I'd be eternally grateful.

It's to replace my media server and VMWare Server with a single box solution, pci express is needed because my SATA controller card is PCI-Express.

Try this section of the forum. The Tyan K8WE and Supermicro board are the favorites there with pretty strong arguments on either side. There are a handful of others the meet your criteria. Another place to look is 2CPU

Ah cheers, never even noticed that section of the forums in the 6 years I've been using it :)
