I have a linux box in addition to my main windows box. Currently my main keyboard/mouse are the Microsoft Wireless Elite Desktop package (both are usb but mouse has adapter for ps2 and I assume that I could do the same with the keyboard)

I have a 19" lcd that I would like to keep just for the windows PC and a 17"lcd I would like to use for the linux box.

I am looking for a decent KVM switch to use (that wouldn't require a single monitor as I want to be able to view both boxes at once). Price I would like to keep around $50 or less.

Any suggestions?

it be cheaper to get an additional keyboard and mouse - without certain nagging issues (lag?) that can come from kvm switches.
go to mwave.com - click on the free* logitech keyboard & mouse - actually $9.99 plus shipping and you get a $10 coupon for next purchase.
that is what I'd suggest

Check out synergy. Its a program that alows you to contol 2 pcs with one mouse and keyboard. Works with linux too. Even can cut and paste between different machines.
