since the voodoo1 runs with the fsb would it try to make my videocard run at 200mhz instead of the 66mhz?

a voodoo1 gets its core and mem clocks from the fsb so i wanted to know if the bios of the card would reset at 200 back to 66

If I'm understanding your quesiton right, no, the motherboard has a divider that should keep your PCI bus at 33MHz (not 66). Same goes for your AGP (which runs at 66MHz by the way.)

This is based on two things though...

First, you have to have your divider set right.
Second, why the hell do you have a Voodoo 1 with a 2.8GHz P4?????!!!!!!!!!

Hey I've got a Voodoo 3 3000 that is still a viable option as long as you're not trying to play games that are recent.

Say what? I hope you are joking with that statement. Besides, PCI runs at 33 Mhz, not 66 Mhz. I don't recall there being an AGP Voodoo1 card.

There was no AGP when the Voodoo came out.

I understand on trying to see what that card can do, I used to have one and still have it in a drawer.
