Yeah I was astounded that I have gotten this Geil this high. 200 stock up to 230 :) You know Im gonna try for more hehe!

Im workin at it my friend, you can be assured of that, even if I can't a 1Gig + oc isn't bad hehe.
 
exactly my setup atm, but 512mb of geil ultra series.
My SL6Z3 dont like 290 or above fsb...most likely my graphics card, even tho its locked at 66/33.
Also on homebrew watercooling. Abit (usually reads temps a little high) says its at 29C at idle.
 
Yeah Im hitting a wall at 297 myself. Even with ratio at 3:2. So I know it isn't the ram. I really don't wanna believe its the CPU, cause I just want to hit 3.6 for that 50% oc lol. But I don't think its gonna happen. Right now Ive got ht off and the sys powered down, lettin that fluid in the wc get just a lil cooler then Ill try again. With fsb @ 300 I can get to windows splash but it hangs. Memory is only running at 200 with the ratio, thats why Im ruling it out as weak link. Its probably the mobo, not the first problem it has, with that vdimm B f'in S with it grrrrr!
 
wow, what model of GEIL is that?

i have some dual channel golden dragon GEIL stuff. i have been running a 285x4 fsb with the 3:2 ratio for my OC.....

i may have to try some cas loosening and voltage bumping on my ram, but i doubt i can get that high
 
how much voltage is it safe to pump through the Ram? i dont wanna break anything
 
safe up to 2.95v max according to Geil
my ultra stick is nice. It went to 240mhz with 2.5/3/3/5
I couldnt get it to the 2/3/3/5 like it said it would at anything over 217, but its only ment for 200. it will do 2/2/2/5 at 200
