Hi there,

I have a P4 2.4 chip overclocked to 2.8 Would I see a performace gain by getting a p4 3.2 with HT

thanks in advance

Yes 800 fsb compared to 533 but with your oc it wouldnt be much.

ahem... isnt the 2.4c 800 fsb?

edit: Maybe just buy a better cooling system and oc it to 3.2 ;)

I'm running it in a small form factor case, not sure how much I can go?

<off subject>dude, he said 2.4c in the thread title. Yes there are ones that run on 533, and they would be called 2.4b's I believe. Just try and find a 2.4c that runs on 533, and i will pay homage to you. :p </off subject>

Some people with shuttles and have done wc'ing. Just start cutting out the stuff that u dont need, like your case. ;) Just put all of the equipment onto a dry, nonconductive surface.

Well maybe not. It can be done tho... Anyhoots, if u have a nice hsf, i have heard of getting a 2.4c up to 3ghz and more...

GL man!

my 2.4c hits 3.0 no sweat, and i run it there 'cause it's prime stable. look at your cooler. it's not stock is it? please god  go get a zalman 7000cu (if it'll fit  ) and some as5 if you don't have any. that should help at least some.
