2.4 Opteron and R600

Based on the rumored specs, will I see a 100% increase in FPS from a 1900XT (to the R600) with my Opteron 170 @ 2.4?

I'd rather just upgrade my video card than my whole 939 system... I don't need the 140+ FPS a C2D gives, just over 60 will do for me.

Thoughts?

And now you're asking if you'll see a 100% increase in fps, going from a X1900 XT to a R600 card...
You know, the one you said yourself is non-existent ? :)

It's all speculation. We we have absolutely no idea how R600 high-end model (or any model for that matter) will be. If it is as fast or faster than a 8800 GTX, then I would say yes, since a 8800 GTX is as fast or faster than two X1950 XTX in Crossfire and obviously faster than two X1900 XT in Crossfire.
