In constant searching for new boxen for my new farm... im often looking at craigslist
and other places... and found this..

does the GHz refer to the spindle speed? that would be really bad if it did 2.3 billion RPM!

assuming he meant 2.3gb, that's a pretty small disk for a windows XP box with office. like "disk full" errors a lot small.

I think he was making the classic "Hard Drive == Computer" mistake. Therefore 2.3ghz is probably referring to the CPU speed.

Hey, just because I have a 160 Gigabyte CPU with a 3.6 GHz HDD don't be mean.....

wow. my CPU doesnt have that much GB... it only has 512k....


that SHOULD be enough for anyone.....

So that makes my storage box a 8-way rig with 8 200 gigabyte processors but only two 2gb hard drives.

Hell of a folding box, but all kinds of storage issues.
