At any rate, it says its incompatable with the Rebel, oh well.
 
"you get what you pay for". From reading around on different forums there are several problems with the magicstor drives. Incompatibility with devices. Unreliability - several people have gone through many rma's before they gave up on them. That on top of the standard microdrive issues of slower speed + more power usage.

If you really want a microdrive, at least get one of the hitachi 4gb or seagate 5gb models. For anything smaller flash is priced fairly well and is much faster.
 
I've had the Magicstor. It died the first week I had it. I RMA'd it and waited 3 weeks for it to come to me from Hong Kong. That one had the same problems with corrupting data and overheating as the first one. They aren't worth it.

How about the fact that Magicstor microdrives are VERY well known to be garbage?
