2 193P+ or single 204T?

Lucky me, I have the choice between 2 193P+ monitors (1280x1024) or a single 204T (1600x1200). They will be run from a 7800GT (Dual DVI).

So which of these configurations would you choose? They would be the same price.
 
um where are u finding the 193p+ for half the price of the 204t,

the 204t is 550 shipped from zzf
a single 193p+ is about 500 if i remember correctly..

where are u finding them for around 275? i want to buy some at that price.

ive owned the 204t, its a bargain.
1600x1200 is 47% more pixels than 1280x1024....
so many things dont really work with a dual monitor setup..
u cant streatch video across more than one screen...
games ... some make the other go b lank, some dont even work properly.... meaning when ur mouse goes to the edge of one screen, it goes to the other and the game loses focus.. equivolant to an alt-tab...
but if ur not gamming or watching video, than go for dual monitors, its more pixels than a single 1600 screen, and the quality on the 193p+ is likely higher than the 204t which is just fine, not great.

i have not owned the 193p or the 193p+
 
Steven, I am Australian. At NinTek the price is AUD $549 for a 193P+ and the 204T is $1049
 
do u game/ watch movies on ur computer?? if so get the 204t

if that is minimal get the 2 193p+'s
 
I've owned both these monitors and it strictly depends on what you want it for. I do both web/graphic design as well as game and neither monitor could do both for me. The 193P+ I would buy if it were strictly for gaming and surfing the net, that's about all it's good for. Noticed a lot of colour banding on the 193P+. The 204T however kicks ass with minor tweaking for graphic design, BUT the motion blur and streaking at times while gaming was enough for me to want to take it back(and as sad as it sounds I got a killer deal on that one too..........)

So just my 2 cents worth, but opinions vary.
 
Question on the 204T
I can get one for good price but i will do a lot of FPS gaming.
Building a new system with plenty of ram cpu power and 7800gtx vid card.
Will i have issues?
