I just broke 2 million, and now I'm about to get bumped from the top 5 by Logikality. Here's how I see it happening.

Logikality: "Hi pageian"
me: "Hi Logikality"
Logikality: "Here's your ass"
me: "Thanks"

Oh well, I'll just have to fold harder to get back. I'd be happy dropping a spot everyday if that means we have a lot of big folders producing. I think Logikality has set some kind of record for getting as high as he has that fast. :)

Yea, I thought I'd be hitting 1,000,000 rather quickly until Log smacked me down.
 
When he blew past all us lowboxers, all I could say was"give em' hell bro". I take pride in all of my teammates, and if they outproduce me, all the more incentive to find new ways to produce. I have RAM/Heat issues with my server box, 2 rigs still in cartons. Have DIY class slated for 3 weeks from now, hope to recruit from new power box owners. Can't hurt to try.

Most of the time I know where it is because that's where I keep my head. :D Lately though I didn't know where it was and then I realized Logikality was about to hand it to me.

It'd be nice if we had some sort of timeline of how Midnightfreak shot up the ranks so we could compare the two. :)

I think most of us have been abused by Logikalty aka "Bubba", but hey, that dude is flying and there's nothing wrong with that... he seems to have gone into hiding too...

 
Yea I've been meaning to ask about this. It seems generally the more points you have, the less you post. BillR and pageian are two exceptions I can think of off hand, but gerenally it seems more points=less posts.

This mean if I start folding for KodiakStar he'll be quite?

When I finally hit 1mil I was happy. I was forced to cut back on machines due to power cost considerations….but I still have 8 fast machines going and frankly, I’m surprised how fast the number is climbing again.

The really hard part is the 30237 work units I have accumulated. That represents a ton of folding going to way back when.

You have 36621, again the sign of a long time folder.

Congrats, it only gets better.
 
I ponder the WU thing often. It is amazing how little WU's you can fold now and get monster points!

 
As others have said, congrats. At my current pace, I'll hit that mark in 2 to 3 years. :eek:

I think I started in early 2002, don't remember really. I know I lurked around here for awhile before I started posting. I don't remember if I started folding and then posting or vice versa. I know I started back when the wu's weren't worth nearly as much, hence the large number completed. If you ever wanted to know who is an old timer just look at the number of wu's they've turned in compared to their point total.

Thanks guys, on to the next million. I just hope it helps somebody someday.
