Ez [H] crew, was hoping you guys can offer me some advice here on what I can do to resolve this issue.

A few weeks ago I had accidentally deleted an entire 1TB partition (video storage) through Windows Disk Management (no fucking "Queued Jobs > Apply" process). So I immediately ran some recovery software to recover whatever it is I lost. I had seemed to have recovered everything in it's original file system hierarchy just as it was before, taking up the very same amount of hard-drive space, but now more than half of the video files don't play with VLC. Most of them are .WMV, .MP4, .AVI, .MOV, and .MKV. A lot of the time VLC doesn't even give me an error message, it just doesn't respond to me hammering away at the "Play" button. Any idea what I can do? Thanks guys...

Thanks for the response, I'll check out my options here. Anyone else got suggestions?

I agree with mw8t. Copy them from their current sectors and then possibly back.
