1st Surround Setup?

Evening,

Decided on upgrading my computer with a brand new build in the coming weeks. Decided I'd like to give a surround setup a try on my new build. Before was debating between a non-korean 1440p or surround. Looks like the price is pretty similiar & majority of games I play support surround (FFXIV, Dota 2, Dirt, Borderlands 2, etc)

What's the best bang for buck surround setup? Prefer to spend $600-$750 tops, basically what I would have spend on a single 1440p. Looking for IPS. Also, is 23", 24", or 27" the norm?

Any help would be greatly appreciated Always used a single monitor setup, but I think I'd enjoy the immersion experience of surround more for gaming. I'll be upgrading my rig soon, mostly waiting for hawaii announcement on Wednesday. So I don't expect my rig will handle surround on much

I think many people do 24", unless they are insane with the 3 30" 1600p screens!

I am stuck on 27" at the moment. If I could i would go for to 3 24" 144hz

The amount of video card you would need to push 144hz monitors in a 3x config isn't exactly affordable. Right now I'm pretty much trying to decide between these 2 myself. Backing down from 3x30" because the 30s are different models and won't work with nvidia solutions. I should be able to sell my 30s and come out slightly ahead.
