1950GT Crossfire questions

Hey guys

Just wondering what chipsets are compatible with 2x1950GT in crossfire. Currently running a single card on a 965 board, looking to get a P35 based one with 2 16x pcie slots. ATI's CF matrix chart shows all 1900 series cards working with the P35 for CF...except the 1950GT. Is that true? If so, I wonder why...

If im going to buy a new board, id like to get something as new as possible, hence the P35. Not really interested in buying a 975X board just to have compatibility on the 1950gt.
