I am currently working on setting up a triple monitor setup, with eyefinity. At first, I wanted 3 25 in. Monitors running at 1920x1080. But yesterday I was at my dads work trying out my new male displayport to female dvi adapter. I brought my one 25 in. Monitor thinking there would be 2 more monitors there with the same 1080p resolution, but they were 24 in. Monitors running at a 1920x1200 resolution. They were noticablly larger, at least a half an inch to and inch bigger up and down. So, now I am on the hunt for 3 of these, but they are sooooooo expensive. So, I am in need of help finding a 24 in. Monitor, preferablly a dell, with dvi inputs. I would like to spend around 150 to 250 each fpr the monitor. Used is fine, as long as their is no obvious damage to the screen, such as discoloration, scratches, cracked, and less then a couple dead pixels. Id really appreciate the help guys, thanks in advance,

Im going the 1080p route as I just bought a samsung bx2431. Right now I have a Samsung 245T im looking to part with. If your interested that is.

From the recommendations on this board, two years ago I got an HP LP2475w: 1920x1200, IPS, DisplayPort/multiple DVI input. I would have thought something better would have come along in the time since, but I notice that 1) people still recommend this monitor over the new HPs and 2) this monitor is still as expensive as the day I bought it < $600. I'm sure used versions are available if you look around, but I'd bet they would go for slightly more than you're willing to pay.

At the time I bought the HP, there was also a 24" Dell model that had similar specs, but my guess is that it's discontinued. There is a new Dell 2410 that goes for around $500, maybe you can get a refurbished or older version of that.

As a side note, I also find the same problem with laptops. Several years ago it was easy to find a laptop with a high resolution 4:3 or 16:10 display but today the default is a measly 1366x768 with few models offering upgrades.
