What would be the better card for gaming at 1920x1080, with no AA if I have to, a GTX, or a GTX 512mb? Anything above 35 fps is good for me.

Well of course the GTX 512 would perform better. I don't think that 35FPS with no AA is unreasonable for either card.

But, will any retailer have a 512mb by tuesday? I'm ordering a new PC on tuesday, and dont want to have to wait for a card. Which is also why I'm buying a A8N-SLI Premium, over the A8N32.

Well the price of the 512mb GTX is still a little crazy... I mean for $750 Plus a bit extra you could get 2x7800GTXs 256mb =P

So I'd just get a normal 256mb GTX it would be perfect for the res you want and they are pretty cheap.

I think I will just go for a regular GTX.

My new PC will be so much better than my current one. Here is what I will be ordering on tuesday.

AMD X2 4400+
EVGA 7800GTX ACS3
2GB OCZ platinum
WD2500KS
A8N-SLI Premium

I cant wait!

:( i paid $600+$550 for my 256MBs(durring summer)

But I highly doubt you are going to find a 512MB soon.

Honestly when you finally find a 512, you'll be lucky to get one for much less than 2xGTX 256's.

And, while the 512 is incredible, 2x256's will outdo it in a great many (not all) applications.

Food for thought :)

get 2 7800GT or GTX's or two 512mb whatever you can afford and you will have no problems :).
