1905FP vr. 2001FP & 2005FPW

Well perhaps this 30ms screen does ghost, and I was just putting all the blame on the 5 year odl videocard lol... I should try it in a good system, as I am a fairly hardcore gamer.

How is screen real-estate between dells 20 and 20 widescreen? In comparing measurments with my current 15"... the widescreen isnt really much taller.

What NEC monitor were you talking about?

NEC makes monitors with TN, PVA, S-IPS from many different panel manufactures.

Ohh. I missed that.

But anyway, Roger answered the question.

As for the panel search you can tjeck it out here:
http://www.rasmuslarsen.1go.dk/skaerme.php

You can type a specifik model, a brand, a panel technology (VA, TN, S-IPS etc), the panel modelnumber, response time...

Example:
Search for Dell 2005FPW and get this result:
Dell 2005FPW (Widescreen) har et 20 tommer 16 ms S-IPS (LG.Philips LM201W01) panel.

It means: Dell 2005FPW (Widescreen) have a 20 inch 16 ms S-IPS (LG.Philips LM201W01) panel.

If you wish to find other monitors using the exact same panel, then search for LM201W01.

Ordered 2005FPW!

Consider me dirt poor, unable to manage money, and excited to have an insane monitor for college next year.

Same here! I was going to purchase the 20" Cinema due to quality consistancy issues with Dell. However, you just can't be the price with all of the current coupons. I can almost buy two 2005fpw's for the price of one Cinema.

I already own one and they are very nice. I may get another as I need the space but I'm wondering if that will be just a litte too much.

I just need the thing for work not to navigate the mothership. ;)

n64man120: No I know. No 15" panels are listed in he database but you can use it for other monitors.
