1900XT Instability

I recently assembled a new computer system, and I'm experiencing computer freezes during game play (So far, I've only played oblivion). Here's my setup:

Antec TruePower 2.0 550w
Radeon X1900XT
2x1GB G.Skill DDR500
DFI Lanparty Expert
AMD Opteron 146

Nothing is overclocked yet. Everything is stock voltage. I Have my +12v 8-prong power connector connected to the mainboard along with the main power connector. The 6-prong power connector connected to the 1900XT, and the little floppy drive 4-prong power connector connected to the jack on the main board right by the 1st PCI-E slot. Anyone see something out of place? I would appreciate any suggestions on what might be the problem, how I could fix my problem, or how I could figure out what my problem is. Thanks for reading!

Incase anyone is planning on including "rtfm", I can't find the manual for the x1900xt.

I think that's supposed to be a case/cpu fan connector. I hope I'm wrong.
 
If you're thinking it's the cpu fan connector, it's not. On a side note, does anyone know the proper procedure to flash a 1900xt to an xtx?
 
Get latest atiwinflash, save old .rom, load r580xtx.rom, check force flash and flash (from windows),

use xtx bios from the same manufacturer as your card ,

you can get the atiwinflash from techpowerup.com

try to get a better power supply from a local store, if it still doing the same thing then return it
