Anyone know of any other than Accelero X2 and water? (and the zelman 9000)
or any that might be on the horizon?

like the new sapphire one, if they will selll it seperately?

A lot of people like the HIS ICEQ3 ones, unless you're only looking for the cooler itself than I haven't heard of any other than the ones you mentioned.

thanks for that link!

i am wondering, the accelero seems to be an ok and silent cooler, but i dont think i have yet seem a review where it goes up against the HIS cooler.
i am also wondering which of these will be the closest to silent solution...
(think sleeping in the same room silent)

To buy a HIS ICEQ 3,
or to buy a regular one and then put one of the silent solutions...

also, is it fair to say that the prices for the 1900XT will stay around 350-400 for a while?
or did i miss any news bites which might suggest price drops.

i would juss go for the HIS ICEQ3, there are many reports of it being a good and silent cooler and there is no hassle of changing heatsinks and voiding the warranty

i think i have settled on the ICEQ 3.. unless tis new news of ATI no longer selling the ref coller with the chip will mean that the and better collers will come out soon.
Then again, the ICEQ 3 is out there now and it beats almost any solution for any card....

its too bad the tide water doesnt cool much better than a decent heatsink

Couldn't that potentially be a bad heatsink if it warmed the water up too much? I mean..it's gotta be difficult taking the heat away from that water with such a weak fan...

i would look into some of the zalman coolers like the vf700 or the vf900, from what i have read, they are excellent coolers and are prettty quiet too. im looking at buying a vf900 for my x1900gt.
